Positioning, identity, and brand systems for ambitious companies

Branding agency, Miami

A strong brand lets you command price instead of competing on it. From our Miami studio, we build the positioning, identity, and systems that earn that premium and hold it across every place a customer meets your brand.

How we think about it

01

Strategy first, then the system

We start with the commercial spine — category position, audience, and narrative — then build the visual identity to express it. Identity that's built on strategy scales; identity that decorates around its absence doesn't.

02

From identity to packaging to web

We carry positioning all the way through to packaging, retail, and commerce-grade web, finished to an editorial standard. The brand ships and performs, rather than stopping at a logo file.

The work

The thinking, out in the world.

Selected published Grid projects that show how we connect ideas, design and production across different kinds of businesses.

The standard

One idea. Built to survive the real world.

Strategy, creative and production stay close so the work does not lose its edge as it moves into channels, formats and deadlines.

Questions

01

What does a branding engagement include?

Category and competitive analysis, positioning and narrative, naming and verbal identity, visual identity and design systems, and the guidelines to scale it consistently.

02

Do you have a studio in Miami?

Yes — Miami is one of our two studios, alongside Toronto, and we work with brands across North America.

03

Can you also build packaging and the website?

Yes. We take the brand from positioning through packaging, retail design, and commerce-grade web so the strategy actually reaches customers.

04

What should we have ready before beginning a brand repositioning?

Bring the current brand, the commercial goal, your customers' most common objections and examples of where the identity breaks down today. Grid can help define the right scope before asking for a finished brief.

05

Do we need a complete rebrand if our current identity is still recognizable?

Not necessarily. If the existing identity still has equity, the better project may be to clarify the positioning and improve specific applications such as packaging, web or campaign creative without replacing everything.
