Overview

After COVID, life slowly started to feel normal again. But getting back into old routines wasn’t always smooth. To capture that feeling, we created a playful video campaign for a leading shoe brand called “It’s Been a While.” The spots showed everyday moments of returning to normal — with a funny twist.

Challenge

The world had changed. People were excited to get back to school, work, and nights out — but also a little rusty. The challenge was: how do we connect with that feeling in a way that’s real, human, and memorable for the brand?

Approach

We told the story through short, funny video spots that everyone could relate to:

Back to School: Kids rush down the stairs with brand new shoes — only to reveal they’re still in their pajamas.

Night Out: A woman gets ready to go out, but when she steps outside, she stumbles — because it’s been so long since she wore heels.

The humor was light, the tone was human, and the shoes were always at the center of the story.

Results

Emotional connection: Viewers saw themselves in the funny, awkward moments of post-COVID life.

Increased brand relevance: The campaign tied the brand to a cultural moment everyone shared.

Stronger engagement: The videos were watched, shared, and talked about across social channels.
